Colman’s Fiery Toad in the hole 

Colman's Fiery Toad
Classic family style dish with fiery Colman's and honey glaze

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 tsp Colman's English Mustard
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 8 Lincolnshire sausages
  • 150 g flour
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tbsps vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 medium red onions thinly sliced
  • 1 sprig rosemary picked

METHOD

  1. For the batter - Whisk Flour, eggs and milk together and strain through a sieve

  2. Season with salt, leave to stand for 10 minutes

  3. In a preheated 170c oven roast the sausages in a large oiled shallow dish for 10 minutes

  4. Pour over the batter with red onion & rosemary

  5. Bake for 30 minutes without opening the oven door

  6. Remove and brush all over with the Colman's Honey glaze

  7. Serve with your best gravy, vegetable sides and lots more Colman’s Mustard
