Colman’s have teamed up with popular food blogger and YouTube chef Ian Haste to give you this delicious Beef Joint recipe, perfect for an extra special Roast Dinner this Summer.
Make the rub by adding all the ingredients into a small bowl and mix together thoroughly, cover the meat generously with the rub.
Place in a hot pan, searing each side until the meat is completely browned.
Add to a preheated oven 200°C , 180°C fan, Gas mark 6 and cook for 50 minutes to 1 hour for medium beef.
For medium-rare, take it out 5 to 10 minutes earlier, for well done, leave it in for another 15 to 20 minutes.
Remember to leave for a good 15-20 minutes to rest before slicing and serving.
